RESTAURANTS, CAFÉS AND SHOPS
Refreshments will be provided during the conference, but should you wish to buy anything more, there are several cafes to be found on the Sidgwick Site opposite. For a map of the Sidgwick site, see here.
The closest of the Sidgwick Site’s cafés is the Buttery, on your left as you walk in from Newnham, between the Faculty of Economics and Politics and the Lady Mitchell Hall. The Arc Café within the Alison Richard Building can be found on the other side of the Sidgwick Site opposite the English Faculty, walking through from Newnham (less than 5 minutes away).
Or, if you want to go a little further, you can take the 10- to 15-minute walk into the town centre, or the shorter walk to the University Library Tea Room, on the other side of the Sidgwick Site (look out for the University Library’s distinctive tower).
